I'm tickled turquoise (I'm not too big of a fan of pink) to announce a new feature of Velvet Tangerine that I've been thinking about... pretty much since I started the blog!
I think its a pretty safe assumption to make that music is a huge driving force in our creative lives. Whether I'm working, blogging, or creating there is always a soundtrack backing me up.
Did you know that I used to have my own college radio show?! It has been a couple years, but I still love sharing my audio gems with my friends.

That's right folks. Yours truly will be compiling a monthly, downloadable mix tape for your listening pleasure. That's something like 12 tracks of my favorite 50's and 60's soul artists, bebop songs, classic country crooners, indie gems, garage bands, rockabilly raves, and possibly a few 90's throwbacks(!).
Here's how it works.
First, become a friend of Velvet Tangerine via Google Friend Connect.
Then, please email

if you are interested in receiving The Monthly Mix. Once I confirm that you are a follower I will add you to the mailing list and you will receive an email notification with a download link each time a new mix is released!
Please make sure your email includes your GFC user name, and your blog address if you have one!
